Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

A quick note to let you know that I'll be taking off the break in between Christmas and New Year.  I honestly can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you.  It beyond makes my day when someone tells me they identified an object because of the blog.  Or that they are now able to clean their silver in a flash because of the blog.  All of these tips, knowing that you are using them, enjoying them and learning.  It makes me over the moon.

Vintage Christmas: The Ceramic Christmas Tree

Now having a family of my own, I have been giving a lot of thought to our Christmas decorations.  I am sure this isn't going to come as a shock to you but I am incredibly sentimental.  And while I now have a healthy does of Melissa and Doug Christmas items in my house, I am thinking a lot about what types of items I am going to have in my home for my son to have an attachment to his childhood memories.
